Before you read any further, I invite you to take a moment to slow down. Check in with yourself. How does your body feel? How is your breathing? Feel free to let out a deep sigh to help soothe your nervous system.

I am so happy you are joining me for this online evening of deep rest. I am truly looking forward to welcoming you! Below you will find some practical tips and the link to our session.

Preparing your space

  • Create your nest: find a quiet room where you can comfortably lie down (on a mat, bed, or couch). Feel free to light a candle or pour a warm cup of tea.

  • Clothing: wear your most comfortable clothes, or even your pajamas.

  • Ready for bed: consider brushing your teeth before we start. This way, you can slide straight into deep sleep right after (or even during 😉) the session.

  • Props: gather blankets, pillows (for under your head and knees), and an eye cover if you like. Keep a cushion or chair nearby too; we will begin seated with mindfulness and gentle movement.

Your posture

The foundation is simple: just lie comfortably on your back. This signals to your body that it is safe to let go of tension. If sitting in a chair feels better today, that is perfectly fine too.
